i wrote about this a few many months back and suddenly with the release in america this week and its impending release in Malaysia next month, everyone seems to be going and buzzing in my ear and on facebook, “oh, did you see that trailer?” yes, i did… back then.i’m so glad that people are digging the same thing i see. that life, that vibrancy. that bounce. the reviews have been mostly glowing. so i can’t wait. i think i’m going to try to organise a movie night for this. 🙂

you can watch and download the 2 trailers and 2 featurettes here. so now we know that the arcade fire re-visit of “wake up” was purpose built for the trailer… what an awesome idea… with karen o of the yeah yeah yeahs and a couple of friends doing the entire soundtrack.

i’m kind of upset (not earth shattering like) about wake up’s non-inclusion… should have been at the very least a bonus on the soundtrack… for sheer recognition of its significance.

i spoke with a many number of friends who have learnt about the movie through the trailer and they all seem to agree that it was the perfect marriage of visual and sound. i just loved the trailer cos it really picked me up. i really felt like throwing things up and being like a kid all over again. so much fun.
